WIP Wednesday [Christmas 1]

It's 3rd December and I am feeling totally un-Christmassy.

In an attempt to find my Christmassy feeling I'm making myself a mug rug to have on my desk at work. It's come about because last week Julianna starting posting blocks for her #lastminutechristmassamplerqal and the Christmas tree block had to be made. I knew straight away.

I've shrunk the pattern to a 6" block, rather than the original 12" block and I love it. I'll add some borders and some hand quilting, and most importantly, red binding.

That should make me feel more Christmassy!

Love your fabric choices, Jennie! Great idea to shrink the block, too. I love Julianna's designs for the QAL - festive and fun!

I love your trees. The one with the red stripe is my favorite!
